This singing is really getting on my nerves, not when I was singing or anything, because that was just fun. But everyone elses, it's just distracting, I can barely pretend to read my DADA book when I actually have a magazine stuffed inside.

I've been spending some quiet time with my sister. Usually we don't really hang out too much, she's always busy with her school work. And I'm a little more social than she is, nothing wrong with that really. But it's just been nice to sit with her while she works, and I read my magazines. Sometimes I can get her to take the fun quizzes. She needs some fun in her life. Apparently, she's suited to a position where it's "analytical." And I'm suited to a "social" career. Like party planning. That would be rather nice actually. I think I could be really good at that.
New rules, whatever, they don't really affect me. I never go outside unless it's necessary. It's February, who would want to? Curfew didn't change much, and I don't play quidditch. I just don't want to die here at school. Can't argue too much with that logic.
My mail order clothes finally came. I order them from the new Gladrags juniors catalog. Some of the clothes are really fashionable, and really cute. Got a new skirt, purple with tiny coral, darker purple, and navy dots. A red leopard print suit. And a new set of purple dress robes. I think they're going to look good with some textured black stockings, and black heels. Maybe for the next ball.
Oh, and ZJ, I'm growing my fringe out. And charming my hair darker, I need a change.

That dance was shit. Boring decorations, boring dates, boring all around. Our toga party would have been loads better just saying. At least I got that loser Jess to go. All she does is read, and study, and mope around. She doesn't look half bad cleaned up either, I picked out her dress before any of you ask. I also did her hair, and her make up. She looked quite nice. I also made sure she actually danced and had a good time. Still a loser though.

I can't believe my skirt bloody ripped in front of the tosser Theodore Nott. How embarrassing. I couldn't have Jess figure out a way to get me upstairs without him noticing. I had to sit in that chair until he fucked off like some sort of mong. This week was a bloody disaster. Thank god it's over.

I'm sick and tired of winter. I miss summer, this weather is making pasty and depressed. I haven't been able to wear a skirt without stockings in months. My legs need to breathe, and I need to wear heels without fearing an ankle break from the ice.

Between Seamus' entry, Lavender's entry, and the fabby toga party, there should be the official end to moping. Rejoice, we're all moving on. That being said, my toga is the most amazing thing ever to have been worn. It's short, and it's tied just right. I have loads of pearls, and some chains knotted with it. Faux laurel leave head band, and some gold sandals. It's not tough being fashionable if you try, just saying.
ZJ, I have the information you wanted, two nights at the library, but I do believe it's worth it.
Jess, you better come to this party, and have some bloody fun. No reading, just fun. I'll drag you there if I have to.

School has been so dismal this week. Loads of homework, ugh really? Does these professors know we have homework in every subject? It's so time consuming, and Monday is my longest day. I'm so tired, I barely had the energy to varnish my nails with my new polish, purple potion. It looks amazing with my skin, but still, it couldn't even cheer me up.
